Totally Renewable Indigo North (TRIN) is a community group formed to encourage people in the Indigo North area to power their townships, homes and businesses with 100% renewable energy.
Towns in Indigo North are Rutherglen, Chiltern, Wahgunyah and Barnawartha.
Our Projects pages show results from a survey conducted over all of Indigo North that gives great insights about how our residents support the use of renewable energy.
Other projects include the installation of a battery at the Rutherglen Senior Citizens clubrooms and a new project involving education of business owners about the costs, benefits and opportunities for installing solar panels and batteries.
We have strong links to other like- minded groups in Indigo Shire, including those in Yackandandah and Beechworth and we regularly work with Indigo Shire, Indigo Power and DELWP.
